Synopisis: Until the day I met John Smith, Number
Four, I'd been on the run alone, hiding and fighting to stay
alive.
Together, we are much more powerful. But it could only last so
long before we had to separate to find the others. . . .
I went to Spain
to find Seven, and I found even more, including a tenth member of the Garde who
escaped from Lorien alive. Ella is younger than the rest of us, but just as
brave. Now we're looking for the others--including John.
But so are
they.
They caught Number One in Malaysia.
Number Two in England.
And Number Three in Kenya.
They caught me in New York--but I escaped.
I
am Number Six.
They want to finish what they started.
But they'll have
to fight us first.
Oh my gosh.So I finished this book yesterday, and it didn't dissapoint.
First,I'm going to start off with the characters.
Number 1,2,3 are all dead,so there's not much to say about them.
Number 4- I don't really like Four in this book.I loved him in I am Number Four, but throughout this book,it seems like he is ALWAYS talking about either Six or Sarah and how much he misses them, etc. It was annoying.
Number 5- It tells you what happened to Five in the book-sorta.During Six's POV it gives you a hint, but then you have to guess what happened to him.I still don't know how/why he'd do that.
Number 6- I don't like Number Six.At all.I don't know why.I just don't.
Number 7- I didn't like Number Seven's POV in The Power of Six.It was really boring.Really.But in The Rise Of Nine, her POV contained a lot of action and a little bit of romance, which I liked.
Number Eight- I think Number Eight is going to end up with Number 7.I think they would make an awesome couple.Number Eight was one of my favorite characters. He was funny, playful etc.
Number 9- Number Nine was my other favorite character. He was similiar to Eight. He's funny, sarcastic, and always seems to get in trouble. He's also "smooth" with the ladies. Haha.Just kidding. But really he was one of my favorite characters.I think he should end up with Six.That'd be awesome.
Number 10- What!?!? There's a Number Ten!?!? Yeah, there is.Her name is Ella and she is the youngest of all the Garde. She was an infant when she came to Earth on the second ship. She can also change ages.Cool, right?
Sarah- I actually liked Sarah.I think she should end up with Number Four.It seems like I am the only one who thinks she should. We don't know if she was the one who betrayed the Garde or if it was Setracus Ra.
Sam- WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO SAM!?!? Yeah,I know he was kidnapped or whatever, but did he die,or what?
Now the writing style.I guessed I liked the writing style. It was in Four's,Six's,and Seven's POV.I liked Six and Seven's POV most of all because all Four did was complain how much he liked Six and Sarah and stuff.
Overall,I give this book 4.5/5.
