Synopsis:
I'm
pushing aside the memory of my nightmare,
pushing
aside thoughts of Alex,
pushing aside thoughts of Hana and my old school,
push,
push,
push,
like Raven taught me to do.
The old
life is
dead.
But the old Lena is dead too.
I buried her.
I left
her beyond a
fence,
behind a wall of smoke and flame.
Lauren
Oliver delivers an electrifying follow-up to her acclaimed
New
York Times
bestseller, Delirium. This riveting, brilliant
novel crackles with the fire of
fierce defiance, forbidden romance, and the
sparks of a revolution about to
ignite.

The ending...Oh my
gosh the ending..I knew
it!
As all of you may or may not know,I absolutely
LOVED Delirium.I thought the plot was unique, and I just LOVED IT!But during the
first 200 or
so pages of Pandmonium I found it sorta boring. And it was totally
predictable. I already guessed what the ending was going to be when I was only
on the first few chapters.
Also the writing style was different but I
didn't
really like it.Every "chapter" would be either "then" or "now". Now
as in what
was happening in her life in the present, then as in past events
that
happened.
Lena is much more stronger/tougher/more confident in this
book then
she was in Delirium.I mean she still made me mad (let's face
it,all the main
characters in books make me mad, especially Lena) she was
smarter.But then came
along this boy named Julian.
He basically replaces
Alex.I heard a lot of
people favor him over Alex, but for me I always have
and will,love Alex more.It
also frustrated me how Alex died only 6 months
before and she's already telling
"I love you" etc, to a guy she's only
known for like a week or two.It also got
me mad how she compared Julian to
Alex in EVERY SINGLE THING HE DOES-or at least
some of the things he does.
For example: 'Alex used to look at me like that' or
'Alex used to do the
same thing with me' etc. It was really annoying. She was
obviously still sad
about Alex's death, but she jumped into another relationship
so fast it
seemed like she never loved Alex. The ending I basically guessed it
from the
very first
chapter...
Overall,this book was very
predictable and I did not like the writing style too much.I was expecting
much more from this book. Overall I give this book 4/5 stars.
